| Summary | The Soundcare® SuperSpike Electronics Pad Chrome 4-pack Soundcare® SuperSpiked foot is an all-in-one spike foot for Hi-Fi electronics. The construction is based on a high quality self adhesive SuperSpike and an ABS foot that makes the SuperSpike look very like an ordinary foot for electronics. This allows the user to move the Hi-Fi equipment without scratching or scarring the surface. This model is furnished with a plastic foot to replace the feet that come standard with some manufacturers' electronic components. The installation is extremely simple. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the original equipment foot on and remove the original foot. Insert that same screw into the precut hole in the center of the SuperSpike. Reattach the foot to the equipment. Finally place the double-sided tape and the felt pad onto the SuperSpike and insert it into the cut away in the base of the SuperSpike. Self-adhesive models are designed to fit under the manufacturers' components. They are supplied with double coated 3M high performance permanent tape and a self-adhesive felt disc made from 1.25mm quality felt with permanent high weight tape. The self-adhesive models are generally used under bookshelf speaker and electronic components as well as for larger speakers without threaded inserts. The use of spikes with Hi-fi components improves sound quality. It is also a certain fact that the use of spikes damages the surface on which they stand. One has seen numerous attempts to make feet that prevent the disadvantage of damaged floors, but they all render reduced sound quality. The use of spikes gives the best sound!
