miniDSP KD-1, Smart Remote, "Knob Dial" for volume/preset/source control of miniDSP devices via BT/Wifi.
The miniDSP KD-1 (short for Kontrol Dial 1), is a “smart” remote control device designed to manage a variety of miniDSP products via low-energy Bluetooth (BLE) or Wi-Fi.
The KD-1 is compatible with the Flex (2-input 4-output version) and the FlexEight over BLE as well as the SHD Series over Wi-Fi. Beyond volume control,the KD-1 allows users to manage mute functions, source selection and presetselection. With the SHD Series, the KD-1 provides media information fromVolumio streamed sources.
Featuring a physical control dial and an intuitive, colorful user interface, the KD-1 is poised to enhance many current and upcoming miniDSP-based audio systems!
New Firmware (24/11/2025): The KD-1 is now compatible iwith all members of the SHD series (SHD/SHD Studio/SHD power) via a simple firmware upgrade!
