The Dayton Audio SS12-PR 12" Signature Series Passive Radiator is the perfect solution for extending low-frequency response in compact subwoofer enclosures. Signature Series Styling and Construction
To visually and mechanically match the Signature Series subwoofers, the SS12-PR uses the same rigid cast aluminum frame, thick anodized aluminum cone, and high-roll rubber surround. From the front, it is indistinguishable from the SS12-22, giving finished systems a seamless and professional look. Its durable suspension and rigid cone allow for the high excursion necessary to complement powerful subwoofers while maintaining low distortion.
Innovative Sandwich Mass Structure
At the core of the SS12-PR is Dayton Audio’s Sandwich Mass Structure (SMS) system. This design places all added tuning mass between the spider and the surround, keeping it perfectly centered and stable during long excursion operation. A threaded bolt with both a wing nut and a nylock nut makes adjustments secure and easy, while the included set of five 116 g weights provides plenty of flexibility for precise tuning.
