FaitalPRO 10HX240, 261mm (10.28in) Treated Paper Cone Pro Coax, with 37mm (1.46in) Compression Driver, 8ohm.
FaitalPRO's 10HX240 professional 10" coaxial driver features neodymium motors for both the 10" woofer and the attached compression driver, for a full-range, point-source solution that weighs just under 9 pounds. A cast aluminum basket handles the use and abuse of road travel.
The 10" woofer is built with a cloth half-roll surround and treated paper cone. High power handling is accomplished through the use of a 65mm (2.56") diameter voice coil on a glass fiber former. Nickel-plated, spring-loaded push terminals make woofer wiring easy.
A ketone polymer, dome-shaped diaphragm is used on the 10HX240's compression driver for smooth, natural sound from 1,500 to 20,000 Hz. The 90° dispersion angle of the driver allows for consistent off-axis sound. A 1,700 Hz, 12 dB/octave crossover is recommended, and is not included. Made in Italy.
