This is the newer and better version of the 12AT7 for Electro Harmonix. This new 12AT7 tube design has short plates to help reduce microphonics and noise. The 12AT7 tube type is equivalent to the European ECC81 tube and can be used in any 12AT7 or ECC81 circuit. The Electro-Harmonix 12AT7-EH tube is great for phase inverters and reverb drivers. The 12AT7 Gold Pin is the Gold Plated version which offers a substantially better contact with the socket. Gold version!
