FaitalPRO 10HX230, 261mm (10.28in) Treated Paper Cone Pro Coax, with 37mm (1.46in) Compression Driver, 8ohm.
FaitalPRO's 10HX230 professional 10" coaxial driver features ferrite motor for the 10" woofer and a neodymium motor for the attached compression driver, for a full-range, point-source solution that weighs just under 11 pounds. A cast aluminum basket handles the use and abuse of road travel.
The 10" woofer is built with a cloth half-roll surround and treated paper cone. High power handling is accomplished through the use of a 65mm (2.56") diameter voice coil on a glass fiber former. Nickel-plated, spring-loaded push terminals make woofer wiring easy.
A ketone polymer, dome-shaped diaphragm is used on the 10HX230's compression driver for smooth, natural sound from 1,500 to 20,000 Hz. The 90° dispersion angle of the driver allows for consistent off-axis sound. A 1,700 Hz, 12 dB/octave crossover is recommended, and is not included. Made in Italy.
